Food is a basic necessity for all of us and we all earn money to achieve this basic need. We need to eat 3 times a day to keep our body running so that we can manage our daily activities. Many people “eat food to live” whereas others are “living to eat food“. In fact, nutrition considers a special significance in the life of each and every one.

The food is usually divided into two main categories given below:

1- Vegetarian food– These include items like milk, fruits, and vegetables. These are the things that are obtained from plants and trees.

2- Non-vegetarian food – includes meat and meat products, chicken, turkey, fish, squid, etc. Non-vegetarian food usually comes from killing animals.

Supporting life is important because the received nutrition helps the cells present in our bodies to fulfill their regular activities. Various accessories provide various levels of nutrition. Nutrients are divided into six sections, which are given below:

1- Carbohydrates- These provide energy to the body and are found in items like rice, bread, and other grain products.

2- Fat- It contains a group of compounds that are usually insoluble in water. These are found in items such as butter, ghee, fish oil, lord, etc. Fats are stored in the human body for energy use later on.

3- Minerals- These are needed for proper functioning in the body such as transportation of oxygen throughout the body, stimulating growth, normalization of the nervous system, etc. Minerals can be found from various types of foods, including meat, grains. Grain products such as bread, fish, milk and dairy foods.

4- Proteins- These are important components of muscles, skin, and hair. Proteins are helpful in the formation of various enzymes in the body which controls various important functions. The major sources of protein include milk, meat, fish, eggs, and vegetables.

5- Vitamin- They are an essential component of the animal body required for good health. It is a necessary organic compound in the form of nutrients. Good sources of vitamins are fruits, vegetables, grains, milk, and eggs

6- Water- This is known as “the nectar of life”. The human body contains 55-78% of the water. It is necessary for the necessary functioning of various important parts of the human body.
